Welcome to the re-designed ICT AID website. With the proliferation of sites and companies concerned with your computer's welfare I have decided to try and bring together those elements that enable me to carry out my job as network manager and technical support person in one place. This site is it. As a 'work in progress' I will add things to it whenever I can. If you would like to participate, then please become a member of the site and add your comments to the forum.

About ICT AID 

The purpose of this site is to help you get the best out of your computer - and to solve problems without having to call out an expensive expert. To this end it will cover the information and links that you need to keep your machine in tip-top shape, along with the best of free software available on the web. One thing about being named 'ICT AID' - some people put me in the same category as non-governmental organisations, e.g. ActionAid, Oxfam, CAFOD, Mercy Corps, Global AIDS Alliance. I am afraid that I am not an aid agency, but elsewhere in the site you will find links to many 'computer related' charities and agencies.

In the forum, you will get a chance to pose questions for other site users - another way to help you solve any problems that you may have.
